Inspiration

After witnessing scams targeting newcomers in the crypto world, we were inspired to create a solution that provides easy-to-use and verifiable raffles on Twitter. Our motivation extends beyond security and adoption to also include the creation of online job opportunities. By enabling users to engage with brand posts for increased visibility, we aim to empower individuals worldwide to improve their livelihoods. Wav3s combines secure raffles with the potential for financial empowerment in the digital age.

What it does

Our platform revolutionizes the way raffles are conducted on Twitter, ensuring transparency and security for participants. By harnessing the power of Chainlink's randomization capabilities, we have created a system that guarantees truly random draws.

Participants can confidently enter our raffles, knowing that the selection process is free from external influence or manipulation. Through the utilization of smart contracts and Chainlink's verifiable random number generation, we have eliminated any potential bias or unfairness.

How we built it

Frontend

• Webapp built in React with TypeScript language.
• For the UI we are used Chrakra UI library.
• For the connection to the Blockchain and the backend process we are used our bulilt-in synchronizer and their functionality (Automatic contract sync, Database, Functions, web3 API)
• Ether js the make the transactions with the Blockchain;

Blockchain

• Hardhat to development for smart contract
• Chainlink VRF to calculate the winner of the raffle.
• Contract of ERC of USDT

Backend

-We use Twitter API to authenticate users with our frontend -We have a bot connected with twitter API checking what users do rt and with that we interact with our contract to deposit USDT to each user address.

Challenges we ran into

Creating a user-friendly front-end with a seamless user experience proved to be one of our greatest challenges. We aimed to design a platform that could be easily navigated and used by individuals new to the crypto world or those unfamiliar with the ecosystem. Striking the right balance between simplicity and functionality required careful consideration and extensive user testing. However, our dedication to providing an intuitive interface paid off, allowing us to make our platform accessible to a wider audience.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

One of our proudest accomplishments during this hackathon was successfully integrating Twitter into our startup. This integration proved to be the most challenging aspect of our project, but we are delighted that it is now functioning flawlessly. Additionally, we are thrilled to see that people have already been using our platform for the past few days, validating its usability and value.

What we learned

During this hackathon, we gained valuable knowledge in UX/UI design, mastered the Twitter API, and discovered the potential for decentralization in centralized social media platforms. These insights have inspired us to continue exploring ways to empower users and promote a more inclusive digital ecosystem.

What's next for Wav3s

At Wav3s, we are taking social media interactions to the next level. The raffle feature, leveraging Chainlink, was just the beginning. Our vision extends beyond raffles, as we aim to provide opportunities for individuals to earn income or even make it their full-time job by engaging with brand posts seeking increased visibility on social media.

With this goal in mind, our next major milestone is to create job opportunities.
