Inspiration: Our inspiration for 'Nathan's Maze' stemmed from a shared love for immersive adventures and mind-bending puzzles. We wanted to create a gaming experience that could transport players into a world of mystery and discovery, allowing them to escape reality and embark on an exciting journey.

What it does: 'Nathan's Maze' offers players an immersive adventure where they navigate intricate puzzles, unlock hidden secrets, and face unexpected challenges. It's a captivating experience that encourages problem-solving and exploration within the enigmatic world created by Daniel, Devesh, Kartheek, and Suro.

How we built it: Building 'Nathan's Maze' was a collaborative effort, combining our diverse skills and talents (storyboarding, rigging, multiplayer implmentation). We utilized various game development tools and platforms to create the game's framework, design levels, and implement interactive elements that make the maze come to life.

Challenges we ran into: Throughout the development process, we encountered numerous challenges, from technical hurdles to creative roadblocks. Managing Github commits and branches. We lost many files and progress due to miscommunication and improper management of repositories. Through these challenges, we learned that we are not aiming for prizes, but rather to merely complete a polished and real-world applicable project.

Accomplishments that we're proud of: We're immensely proud of what we've achieved with 'Nathan's Maze.' Creating a game that not only entertains but also challenges players while immersing them in a captivating narrative is an accomplishment we hold dear. The teamwork, dedication, and persistence that went into this project are also significant achievements. We fixed the traps, and game logics such as collision, health bar calculations and physics renderings.

What we learned: Developing 'Nathan's Maze' was a learning experience that taught us valuable lessons in game design, teamwork, and problem-solving, googling prompt engineering utilising resources such as GPT for assistance and reducing inefficient utilisation of time. We honed our technical skills and gained a deeper understanding of what it takes to create an engaging and immersive gaming experience. Early hours and last minute changes however in the end everything was well assembled and compiled for a neat and polished final product.

What's next for Nathan's Maze: As we look ahead, our vision for 'Nathan's Maze' extends beyond its current iteration. We plan to refine and expand the game, incorporating player feedback and adding new levels, challenges, and narratives to keep the adventure fresh and exciting. We're also exploring opportunities to bring 'Nathan's Maze' to a wider audience, ensuring that more players can enjoy and get lost in the intrigue of our creation. In addition we would like to grow with more payment methods such as our current provider Circle. In addition the wide positives of growth through the use of Google cloud to handle our storage and multi-server process is crucial to make our game scalable for the future.
