Inspiration
We were inspired by the level of freedom and creativity that a voxel sandbox game like Minecraft can deliver so we wanted to improve on that by using AI to further improve the user's ability for creativity.
What it does
Uses AI to generate textures for the game based on the user's preference. Then in the game the player is able to destroy and build structure using voxels with the generated textures.
How we built it
We used respell for the AI interface. Image generation was done using Dall-e. Python was used to download the image. We used c++ for the game and render engine. We used OpenGL for the graphics.
Challenges we ran into
Figuring out the right keywords that would give the game a pleasing look.
