Inspiration

As university students, job hunting is stressful with endless applications, uncertain verification, and resume fatigue. We wanted to make it easier for both applicants and recruiters. Our idea? Turn resumes into verified digital records; fast, trustworthy, and built for the future of hiring.

What it does

To meet our goals of trust, transparency, and efficiency, blockchain stood out as the perfect technology. Our platform leverages it to securely record users work and educational experiences, giving them the ability to share verifiable proof of their achievements with ease.

How we built it

The foundation of our project is blockchain, built on Solana for its unmatched efficiency and scalability. On the frontend, we used Next.js and Tailwind CSS to craft a smooth, responsive interface that delivers a seamless user experience.

We also introduced a bonus feature that lets users upload their resumes, automatically extracting work experience details to streamline validation requests. To power this, we used OpenRouter to manage multiple LLMs, providing intelligent fallback handling and adaptability across a variety of resume formats.

Challenges we ran into

Defining privacy policies for the openrouter model was a difficult challenge to overcome. We had to thoroughly go through the documentation in order to implement this functionality. On top of this the design process was very lengthy. From finalizing our idea, to bouncing between ui/ux choices, there were a lot of hurdles we had to overcome in a timely manner.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud of being able to develop functional prototype for Stamp, a project we believe can have a major impact on the verification process. Our core achievement was validating the system’s speed. We proved that using Solana’s architecture allows for sub-second verification and near-zero fees, which is critical for real world adoption.  We also successfully integrated OpenRouter and LLMs to efficiently parse resume data, tackling a key data challenge. We delivered a complete, timely solution that ensures verification is not only functional but fast, making an immutable record of professional truth accessible to everyone.

What we learned

This was the first time we created a product of this scale with multiple technologies working together so seamlessly. We learned how to use a stack of such technologies in a manageable and efficient manner.

What's next for stamp

The next step for Stamp is to move beyond the job application and tackle the broader crisis of trust in our daily lives. Verification is no longer just a hiring problem, it’s a day-to-day problem.  We plan to increase Stamp’s context, moving from validating education and work experiences into other domains such as professional licenses, and decentralized reputations. We see it as a way for every user to keep track of their entire professional and personal journey, collecting stamps along the way, building a trusted digital identity layer for the future.
