Inspiration

We love volunteering and would love to see more inclusivity of events in our community.

What it does

VoluntEasy is a platform designed to make volunteering easy. Users start by registering for an account and signing in. Users can host their own volunteering events or join ones hosted by others. Each event has a title, date and time, location, description They can view a list of events they are a part of, and click to view specific details about an individual event.

How we built it

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Used the Google Maps and Places APIs to create an autocomplete search bar of locations. Then, use the coordinates from that location to pinpoint a marker on a map to show the location of each individual event.
Creating an intuitive and aesthetic UI using HTML and CSS. Used colour palettes and drop-shadow to create the illusion of depth.
