Inspiration

In a hackathon full of wild prompts and fast ideas, I wanted something that showed off me — not as a static resume, but as a burst of creative energy. Voltfolio ⚡ was born to make a portfolio feel alive, glowing, and electric.

What it does

Voltfolio turns a simple resume into a visually charged personal site — full of motion, color, and personality. It transforms your story into animated sections powered by bold UI and lightning-fast transitions.

How we built it

Built with Next.js, Tailwind CSS, and Framer Motion — and designed entirely with a V0 prompt. I guided the AI to create an energetic layout using an electric blue and neon yellow palette, storm-cloud animations, and playful micro-interactions.

Challenges we ran into

Getting the V0 prompt just right took several iterations. I had to balance design chaos with readability and make sure the JSON data integrated cleanly. Making it feel “alive” without overloading animations was tricky too.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Creating a full-fledged, animated, AI-generated portfolio — without writing a single line of frontend code. It perfectly captures the hackathon’s vibe: fast, fun, and a little chaotic.

What we learned

Prompting isn’t just about giving instructions — it’s about art direction. I learned how to think like a designer, engineer, and storyteller all at once while steering AI tools toward my vision.

I want to make Voltfolio customizable for anyone — upload your JSON, pick your vibe, and get a portfolio that matches your energy. Think of it as an AI portfolio generator that sparks personality.
