Inspired by Google Assistant and Google Chrome Extensions

## Problem 1 – Reading lengthy documentations might be a reason to get bored with time and also the person might miss one or two lines while reading such lengthy documentations. ## Problem 2 – Solving problems for People with disability or with weak eyesight problems who may not read or view any kind of information on the web or desktop for a longer period of time. ## Problem 3 – Solving Problems for people with weak vocabulary.

Working Details

It is a web app where user can write the lines of text which the user wants to listen. User can also paste lines from the web or any other source which is too lengthy to read and user can listen them. User can also change the pitch of the voice in which the text is being spoken. User is also given an option to increase or decrease the rate at which the text is being spoken. User can choose different accent according to his/her own country and listen to the text. User can now enjoy learning by just listening to the text that is too lengthy to read and hence makes learning and reading more efficient. Tech Stack Used – HTML, CSS, JavaScript and Speech Synthesis API

Challenges Faced

Since this is a Front-End Web Application, the major challenges we ran into was to set the UI of the project in such a way that it's easy for users to use it. The challenge was to use an experimental api provided by Javascript, in which we have to implement some of the major functions by our own.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

The Major accomplishment that we are proud is that now VoicieBuddy is now completely ready to use and it's a tool which is available for free of cost. Now, each and every person of the world can have access to it and make learning and reading more efficient.

It's a tool which will not only help people with normal vision but is also benificial for those who do not have eyesight or do have a weak eyesight problems. I am really happy to be the founder of this initiative and would love if this grows and helps people around the world.

What we learned

The major learnings that I gained was to use such experimental API's in a positive way, so that not only us but the entire world could be benfited from it.

What's next for VoicieBuddy Web Application

Voiciebuddy will have more features in future and I will also make it avaibale as a Google Chrome Extension, which can be used widely all around the world.
