Inspiration
We followed Visma's brand book and followed guidlines with minimal variations, to match overal look and feel of their brand.
What it does
We develeped Visma Timeline web for various types of events manageable from dedicated administration panel. In admin panel you can add, remove or edit events and profiles. Administrators can also hide events or add features like leaderboard using WYSIWYG editor provided by TinyMCE. On timeline you can click on read more button, which redirects you to subpage with more details. There is also option to scan QR code which will redirect you to specific event. We used simple and minimalistic design to provide users and adminstrators seamless experience through the website.
How we built it
We used design tool Figma to sketch and wireframe our ideas. We selected PHP + Laravel + jQuery tech stack, which provides solid foundation for possible scaling.
Challenges we ran into
While solving Visma's challange, the main thing we encountered was creating eye-catching, but at the same time, simple and intuitive website.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We designed and developed functional microapplication in less than 24 hours while working on 2 challenges simultaneously.
What we learned
How to properly work in team and better communicate.
What's next for Visma Timeline
Our next step is to optimize administration, make UI more understandable, clean and usable, add option to create own types, profiles and more useful features.
