Inspiration

We were tired of constantly looking for files and not finding what was needed in a reasonable and efficient timeframe.

What it does

Vector uses the latest in Artificial Intelligence to optimize searching, sorting, and summarizing your files for blazingly fast information retrieval

How we built it

We used Tauri in Rust along with React and Tailwind as the front end with the Bun JavaScript runtime for the backend.

Challenges we ran into

The scope of this project is gigantic. We ran into issues mainly with the context of searching with A.I.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We were able to create a fantastic frontend UI for our file manager and accomplish summarizing with A.I. and a website

What we learned

We learned how to use the Groq API to access several different models and how to interact with the filesystem.

What's next for Vector

We will want to get funding for our idea and hopefully build it into a properly scaled platform.
