Inspiration

Our team recognized the growing need for financial literacy in today's digital age. With the rise of fintech and the complexities of financial markets, we felt compelled to create a tool that would simplify the learning curve and empower users to make informed decisions.

What it does

Web app that helps users, especially young adults, get a grip on financial topics. Using OpenAI, our app offers tips, answers, and advice to make finance more approachable.

How we built it

Used React for the front-end and Google's Realtime Database, Firebase, for user authentication and the backend. Used OpenAI's LLM api for Artificial Intelligence assistance.

Getting visual charts for the budget spending visualizer feature.

What we learned

We learned a lot about finance, how to build an app, and how to work with tools like OpenAI. We also got better at problem-solving when things didn't go as planned.
