Inspiration

Valid is inspired by the desire to give Africans the means to train, educate themselves and create. We found that many Africans do not have access to quality training, education and creative opportunities. We want to change this and create an Africa where everyone has the potential to succeed.

What it does

Valid is a digital platform that provides Africans with access to training, education and creativity. We offer a variety of services, including:

 training: We offer training from African and international sources, in several African languages.
 Education & Learning: We offer online courses, tutorials and learning resources on a variety of topics.
 Creativity and Expression: We provide a platform for Africans to share their art, music, literature and culture.

How we built it

Valid was built by a team of passionate African entrepreneurs and technologists. We worked with experts in information, education and creativity to create a platform that meets the needs of Africans.

Challenges we ran into

One of the biggest challenges we have encountered is internet connectivity. Many Africans do not have access to the internet or a reliable internet connection. We have worked to solve this problem by developing versions of our services accessible with little internet connection to improve connectivity across Africa.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud to have created a platform that positively impacts the lives of Africans. We want to help millions of Africans access information, education and opportunities for creativity. We also want to help create a vibrant online community of Africans who connect, learn and share with each other.

What we learned

We have learned that collaboration and partnership are essential to succeed in Africa. We also learned that Africans are talented innovators and entrepreneurs who have the potential to change the world.

What's next for Valid

We have big plans for the future of Valid. We are working to expand our range of services, improve our accessibility and make an even greater impact on the lives of Africans. We are also committed to playing a leading role in Africa's digital transformation.
