Inspiration

As a student in school myself, I've faced many problems with procrastination and disregard to my academic duties. My inspiration behind making this application was creating a site so fellow students can have the resources to receive online education anytime, anywhere.

What it does

TutorSwift is an on-demand tutoring platform and unlike most standard schedule for lesson platforms, we're able to bless students with a way to schedule lessons in real-time.

In our platform, you start up by creating an account. After this, you can head over to the search bar and find a tutor for the core subject that you need academic assistance with.

You'll see tutors with a status symbol indicating whether they are online or offline.

You can find a tutor who has a green status symbol, indicating that they are online, and message them on one of the platforms that are attached to their profile.

After this, you can discuss the varying logistics on payments, and setting up a meeting room!

How we built it

On the frontend side of TutorSwift, we used ReactJS and Tailwind CSS. When it comes to our server, our backend, we used NodeJS and Python.

Challenges we ran into

We faced multiple technical difficulties which we found quite confusing in the beginning, but after our due diligence and research we were able to solve them and continue forward with producing TutorSwift.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We're quite proud of our homepage UI for tutor swift as it has a sleek and beautiful design.

What we learned

We learned to have a high resolve, keep up resilience, and more! We're definitely looking to continue on tutor swift and bring it to higher places.
