Tunic

Inspiration

Our inspiration was our lack of fashion skills, and we wanted something to help people look more stylish.

What it does

It uses trend analysis and smart recommendations and promotes easy shopping. It digitizes your wardrobe and helps you upgrade it, so you can look fresh.

How we built it

We used Google Cloud Vision and API, Digital Ocean, and flask. We used python for the backend.

Challenges we ran into

We had some challenges with scraping data for images and urls.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We're proud of creating a functional app that uses machine learning and computer vision.

What we learned

We learned how to do computer visions to recognize garments and how to use Google Cloud.

What's next for Tunic

We hope to expand Tunic and improve our algorithms.
