Inspiration

“Music is the literature of the heart; it commences where speech ends.” – Alphonse de Lamartine We know music is universal language of mankind. Whether you like listening to Taylor swift's "love story" or Ali Gate's "it's you", you will find a person with same taste as yours lying in bed and listening to the same song as you.

What it does

Our app plays songs based on the genres you prefer, languages. Based on the songs you like we show people who have similar music taste to that of your with percentage matching and the genres, languages matching. Not just this, do you think distance separates you from your loved ones? Don't worry! You can generate a unique id and your lover or friends can paste the id in an input field. Voila! You both can listen to the same song from different places.

How we built it

We used node as backend and html, css and js as frontend. We deployed the app using app engine in google cloud.

Difficulties we faced

It was the first time we used google cloud to deploy. We tried using cockroach db and radar.io but we faced many issues. We wanted our idea to implement so we tried implementing using the technologies we used.

What's next for tune love

We are planning to use better algorithm to connect to people. We will make the algorithm better and recommend music based on location and weather (since these factors also play an important role).
