Inspiration

Small business owners often wear many hats at once. They manage inventory, serve customers, and handle daily operations, leaving little time to focus on customer retention and growth. We wanted to create a solution that helps local stores strengthen customer relationships using AI while keeping the sales agent at the center of the experience.

What it does

Tuali Growth Agent is an AI-powered assistant that helps small businesses increase customer loyalty and repeat purchases. It analyzes customer behavior and purchase history to suggest personalized promotions, send smart reorder reminders, and manage a rewards system based on points and incentives. The agent supports sales representatives, making it easier for them to provide personalized attention to every customer.

How we built it

We started by creating user personas and mapping customer journeys to better understand the needs of both customers and sales agents. Using these insights, we designed an AI assistant capable of generating recommendations, identifying purchasing patterns, and supporting loyalty strategies through promotions, reminders, and rewards.

Challenges we ran into

One of our biggest challenges was balancing automation with the human touch that makes local businesses unique. We also had to design a solution that is powerful enough to provide valuable insights while remaining simple and accessible for small business owners.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We successfully designed a solution that combines AI, customer loyalty, and human interaction in a way that is practical for small businesses. We're especially proud of creating a system that supports sales agents rather than replacing them, while also providing customers with a more personalized and rewarding experience.

What we learned

Throughout this project, we learned the importance of understanding user needs before developing a solution. We also gained experience in customer journey analysis, AI-driven personalization, and designing technology that creates value for both businesses and customers.

What's next for Tuali Growth Agent

Our next step is to develop a functional prototype and integrate real customer data to improve recommendation accuracy. We also plan to expand the rewards program, add predictive purchasing insights, and continue enhancing the AI assistant so it can become an everyday growth tool for small businesses.
