Truth Chain

TruthChain that combines AI and blockchain to create a transparent, decentralized content verification system to help verify what is accurate or not.

Misinformation spreads 6 times faster than factual content online. Current fact-checking solutions are centralized, slow, and lack transparency and I believe we need a way to quickly verify content while maintaining a permanent, tamper-proof record of verification. TruthChain uses AI to analyze content, then stores verification results immutably on the Ethereum blockchain. I created a decentralized system that verifies three types of content - text, URLs, and images - with detailed AI analysis.

I have also included accessibility features like dark mode and the website is responsive for web and mobile.

TruthChain is built with Vite/React, TypeScript, TailwindCSS, Gemini AI API, Metamask that connects with Remix Ethereum smart contracts that combines several cutting-edge technologies: Google's Gemini 2.0 Flash API for sophisticated content analysis Smart contracts on Ethereum store verification results immutably The app runs client-side models as fallbacks when needed I have also implemented a 'demo mode' for situations where wallet connection isn't available

TruthChain has the potential to combat misinformation at scale while maintaining decentralization and future versions could include community verification, specialized AI models for different content types, and integration with browser extensions.

The goal is to create a web where verification is accessible, transparent, and trustworthy.

TruthChain offers a unique combination of AI-powered analysis and blockchain immutability and there is potential to expand this project and integrate with existing platforms to combat misinformation at a larger scale.
