Inspiration

I am currently studying abroad in London, so I based this app on what I thought would have been helpful for me in coming here. With so much going on when traveling, it is hard to organize all of the things there are to do and remember everything needed. Tripped Up is an outlet that allows for easy travel and less stress!

What it does

Tripped Up keeps track of the trips the user has scheduled and all aspects of it including the activities they have planned, how they are going to get there and how they are going to get around while they are there, their budget, packing list, meal planning, and accommodation. The user manually adds their information and Tripped Up stores it for later, so they do not need to remember every detail, such as flight number and timings of activities. With all information in one place, the user can travel stress-free, knowing they have everything they need!

How we built it

I used Figma to wireframe this idea and coolors.co to find a color palette I liked.

Challenges we ran into

I struggled with getting even spacing between the boxes and balancing the colors so it was not too much or too little of the same thing for a good UI.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I am proud that I was able to incorporate a map in the app and that I was able to participate despite the time difference and my busy schedule!

What we learned

I learned how to add flows/segues and prototype on Figma.

What's next for Tripped Up

I want to link Tripped Up to other apps such as airlines, public transit apps, and calendars. I also hope to find a way to allow the user to edit and delete their travel plans.
