Does your trip never make it out of the group chat? This is a website for groups to plan trips by submitting their preferences. Users have the opportunity to submit their preferred details.

Inspiration

This is a solution to overcome the problems faced when planning a group trip while considering everyone's preferences

What it does

It allows users to submit preferences such as locations, dates, budget etc. so that everyone can see each other's choices on a dashboard for easy visualization.

How we built it

We built a basic prototype using HTML, CSS and JavaScript and used Grafana for the dashboard.

Challenges we ran into

Linking the database to the platform was challenging.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are pleased to have a simple and accessible UI that everyone can use efficiently.

What we learned

We learned how to navigate Grafana and effectively manage time.

What's next for Trip Planner

We wish to add more features and AI so that it can provide suggestions if members are unsure of where to go based on their budget and time.
