Inspiration

We wanted to make a game inspired by the event, and t-rex was the theme that we enjoyed the most.

How we built it

We built Rampaging Rexy in Unity using assets from Aseprite.

Challenges we ran into

The biggest challenge we faced was figuring out an alternative to GitHub, since it does not allow files over a certian size anymore. We solved the problem by learning how to use Unity's new built in version control.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

What we learned

We learned the importance of manager classes for Unity. They are the back bone of our project and building it would have been impossible without.

What's next for Rampaging Rexy

In the future, we are hoping to add a greater variety of obstacles in to get in TRexy's way. Special areas like a construction zone, or park area, with their own unique enemies to get through are one of the obstacles that would be a great addition. Also, being able to save the leaderboard across runs would be ideal.
