Inspiration Content creators are constantly racing against time. By the time they spot a trending topic, dozens of others have already posted, and being first can mean 10× more views. Manual trend monitoring—scanning Reddit, X, Hacker News, and Google Trends—is exhausting and still too slow.

We were inspired to build a system that doesn’t just give data, but makes decisions, learns from outcomes, and acts autonomously. What it does TrendPilot is an autonomous multi-agent system that:

Scans the internet every 15–30 minutes for trending topics. Scores trends by virality potential and relevance to your niche. Generates ready-to-use content briefs with titles, angles, and talking points. Can generate, optimize, and upload videos autonomously. Learns from real performance metrics to improve future content automatically.

TrendPilot doesn’t just tell you what’s trending—it helps you catch trends first. How we built it We combined multiple AI tools and APIs:

Lovable for rapid prototyping. Augment Code for backend logic and workflow orchestration. Assistant UI for a sleek, user-friendly interface.

Agents collaborate to validate and refine content ideas, scoring trends, generating briefs, and even creating videos. After upload, a self-improving loop analyzes performance metrics and continuously adjusts content strategies. Challenges we ran into Agent collaboration: Early versions produced conflicting content briefs. We implemented a “validation & discussion” layer to ensure consistency. Relevance: Filtering viral topics for specific niches required careful tuning. Integration complexity: Combining multiple AI tools while keeping the system seamless was difficult, especially with asynchronous updates. Accomplishments that we're proud of Built a fully autonomous system that generates actionable content ideas without human intervention. Developed a self-improving loop that adapts based on real performance metrics. Created a polished, easy-to-use interface while orchestrating multiple AI agents working together. What we learned Collaboration between AI agents produces better results than single-agent systems. Continuous feedback loops are essential for improving content performance. Designing AI for user-specific relevance is just as important as raw intelligence. What's next for TrendPilot Expand the system to support multiple platforms beyond YouTube and TikTok. Improve trend scoring with more contextual awareness and predictive analytics.
