💡Inspiration💡

While Treasure Hunters are searching for treasures in the dense Savannah Desert or in the Thick Amazonian forest, there is a Treasure Hunter among all households. It can be You or Me trying to hunt out daily useable items at home forgetting where you kept them last! Be it a Calculator you Searching for or be it your Pair of Glasses ...SpotXMark has got you covered and save your trouble of Scavenger Hunting all such small items that might be difficult to locate at home. It can also help in Mining or Excavations for researchers when they are on the lookout for items that may-not be recognized by human eye hence SpotXmark with Spot the Mark and alarm the X location for you!

❓What it does❓

Every Hunter at home has a hard time Scavenger hunting the items in time of need but have not found the location of the item which not only creates confusion but also trouble and irritation. So SpotXMark is your companion to searches for these little daily to use treasures like a Calculator or a Wallet and notify the controller via a sounding buzzer once it has been trained and recognises the location of the item and alerts the User by not only buzzing the sound but also sending a Twilio text message for further use cases.

🏗️How we built it🏗️

We trained the model using Google cloud and TensorFlow Lite and then deploy the model on a Raspberry Pi.
Robot consist of Camera and Circuit Boards along with Buzzer Connection.
Auth0 Multi-factor Verification helps the controller to get easy verified access to the robot and start the search of the item.
Twilio is associated with Auth0 for verification confirmation and When the treasure is located by the robot buzzer alert text messages are sent to user about the item being found.

🚧Challenges we ran into🚧

Working with google cloud and Auth0 for authenticating the robot controller.
Connections and Machine Learning Training took time to be established.
Training the Robot for Image recognition and buzzing buzzer on correct mapping was also tiresome to carry out.

We are proud of the final project we built. We learned a lot while working on the project not just technically but also time management. We are proud we could complete the project and deliver a beautiful fully functional Hack this weekend.

We had a tough time managing time this weekend with our participation in this Hackathon as we had to work on multiple things altogether. We lost alot of hackathon time in brainstorming and team building yet we are proud that things went according to our plans. Fortunately, we could do this by distributing our work and focusing on multitasking. Extremely excited for all the learnings and teachings we had got through this hack.
