At the beginning of 2020, the world entered a pandemic unlike anything we've ever seen. Schools and businessses were shut down and safety protocols such as wearing masks and social distancing were put into action. Now that we are approaching a point where we can see the end of the pandemic and people are able to travel again, it is more important than ever to keep ourselves safe and follow the guidelines. With people starting to travel again, we risk another outbreak of the pandemic that would push its end further away. To make sure that people travel safely, we will be making a mobile app that tells people the number of COVID cases in an area and whether a location is safe to travel to. With this app, we aim to keep the number of COVID cases on the steady decline it's on, so as to ensure the early end of the pandemic.
