🛠 How we built it

Frontend

  • Figma
  • React.js

Backend

  • Node.js
  • Express
  • MySQL

Hosting

  • Heroku
  • ClearDB

🎯 Challenges we ran into

  • This is our first time creating creating a full-stack application with this stack so that came with a few challenges, especially in connecting react.js front-end to node.js back-end
  • we were also a little new to managing branches on git
  • Hosting: we had a hard time finding good hosting websites to host our mySQL database

💪 Accomplishments that we're proud of

  • As novice hackers, we are proud to have created a functioning full-stack app within 48 hours.
  • We used git for version control in our development lifecycle

📖 What we learned

  • GET and POST requests
  • Creating a database with MySQL
  • Hosting a full-stack app on Heroku
  • Teamwork makes the dream work 🌈
