Inspiration: The inspiration for creating Trapezium was the potential of the Tezos blockchain for decentralized ownership and trustless transactions. Additionally, the desire to create a marketplace that is accessible to anyone with an internet connection was also a driving factor.

What it does: Trapezium is an NFT marketplace for the Tezos blockchain, allowing users to buy, sell, and trade NFTs in a decentralized and transparent way. It provides a platform for artists, creators, and collectors to showcase their work and trade with others.

How we built it: Building an NFT marketplace for the Tezos blockchain required expertise in blockchain technology, smart contract development, and the use of the Michelson programming language specific to Tezos. The project was built using blockchain development frameworks, SmartPy, as well as front-end development frameworks, React.

Challenges we ran into: The development of Trapezium faced challenges such as ensuring the security and scalability of smart contracts, optimizing the platform for efficiency, and ensuring a user-friendly interface for buyers and sellers. Additionally, as a relatively new and emerging technology, blockchain development can be complex and challenging.

Accomplishments that we're proud of: The successful creation and deployment of an NFT marketplace for the Tezos blockchain is a significant accomplishment, as it involves complex smart contract development and integration with blockchain technology. Additionally, creating a platform that enables artists, creators, and collectors to showcase and trade their work is a meaningful achievement.

What we learned: Developing Trapezium required learning about blockchain technology, the Tezos blockchain, smart contract development, and front-end development. Additionally, building a marketplace involves understanding user needs and creating a platform that is secure, efficient, and user-friendly.

What's next for Trapezium: The future of Trapezium could involve expanding its user base, integrating with other blockchain platforms, and adding new features that enhance the user experience. Additionally, continuing to ensure the platform's security and scalability will be an ongoing priority.
