Where did Team TRAKA get Inspiration from?

All team members had personal experience of having people around them who had no access to information on the health protocols in their country so I we were inspired to help them in providing them with access to accurate information for their safety.

What it does

Team TRAKA has gathered information on the public around them in Nigeria and created an automated online & offline app for those to get easy access to information regarding healthcare facilities and information for Covid-19 and post Covid-19.

How Team TRAKA built it

Team TRAKA has amazing IT and app designers who have created the app already and piloted the app in one state in Nigeria.

Challenges Team TRAKA ran into

Scaling-up the app to involve other problems happening in Africa not just Covid-19, but women empowerment and Other illnesses such as Malaria, AIDS, Diabetes and etc. however in order to do this, we need funding so we realised our complication is our funding.

Accomplishments that Team TRAKA are proud of

We managed to bring our ideas together and figure out a way to pitch our idea to gain funding or or partnerships to scale-up our app.

What Team TRAKA learned

Sometimes what we have in mind and works in our minds might not be on the next persons' mind which was difficult to learn but we had to face it and so we learnt how to diversify our ideas.

What's next for TRAKA

To pitch our idea to get funding and gain partnerships through storytelling in order to help the public especially low-earning people and women with our healthcare information regarding their health during uncertain times.
