Inspiration

We were inspired by the fact that we are all people who enjoy the outdoors.

What it does

Trail Tales is a unique social media app that lets hikers share their stories and connect with others who love the great outdoors. Whether you're a seasoned pro or a beginner, you can record and post audio podcasts that capture the sights, sounds, and experiences of your hikes. With Trail Tales, you can explore new trails, get inspired by others' stories, and build a community of fellow hikers who share your passion for nature.

How we built it

Challenges we ran into

We had troubles with dependencies. We found out that some of the Quart dependencies wouldn't work. We had troubles maneuvering Quart, due to the lack of documentation. We had troubles implementing the different software ends with each other. We faced problems with setting up a Flask with EC2.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We worked well as a team. We were able to work around difficult situations together.

What we learned

We learned how much it takes to develop a full stack application. We were also able to understand the general gist of how full stack applications work. We were able to experiment with building REST APIs
