Inspiration

Trading today is still intimidating for most people. Meanwhile, social platforms like TikTok have shown how powerful short-form, discoverable content can be for learning quickly. This is our attempt to combine both to create an intuitive but useful interfacing for Liquid.xyz

What it does

TradeTok is a TikTok-style trading discovery platform where users can browse trading strategies through a swipeable feed.

Swipe through live trading strategies posted by traders
Double-tap to instantly copy a trade
Follow traders and strategies
Watch live trades being executed
Copy full strategies automatically

How we built it

We built it using Liquids.xyz incorporated with a tiktok style interface built using Next.js. A fast api server was created to wrap Liquid's python sdk based interaction mechanisms. Real-time funding rates, placing orders, closing orders etc were all enabled using the API endpoints from servers.

Challenges we ran into

Liquid's APIs were sometimes unreachable because of network load, which made debugging a little hard but at the end everything worked smoothly.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Creating one of a kind interface that simplifies trading experience and educates traders. Also allows trader influencers to earn for their strategies.
