Monster Seeking Monster, weird policy debate turn arguments

What it does

Trade bad is a game where you are a merchant from around 1500-1800 want to earn as much as possible, trying to have the top 40th percentile most points by the end of the game that takes place over 5 days, starting on Monday. The game forces you to trade with other people, but be careful with who you trade with because you could be getting scammed, end up agreeing to take on a stranger's debt, or even get killed during your "trades". Random events might happen each day, shaking up the game, ranging from a gold rush to witch hunts to uprisings against the elite. Oh, and one last thing. All players have a hidden role that they should keep secret from other players, so someone's incentives may be a bit different from yours. Watch out and make an honest living or go scam other players for their every last penny!

Claude Code

Challenges we ran into

I did not have any claude credits left on my own account, so I had to use my sister's clunky computer to work on this entire project. I also am working alone, so keeping pace with time restraints is very difficult for me. Debugging is also super difficult because I have no idea what claude is doing so I get stuck asking it the same few things.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I have a game that works under most circumstances and I was able to make it work across devices (how exciting).

What we learned

I learned how to get a game working across devices with firebase.

What's next for Trade Bad

I want to play this game with my friends and family and hopefully get the game somewhat popular.
