We are team Trackio, taking on the theme of social good.

Inspiration

What if we can track services/products like we track our pizzas from Domino’s or shipments from Amazon? Trackio allows companies to share real-time updates on their work process with their customers.

As logistics become more transparent in the internet age, people are compelled to monitor everything from the whereabouts of friends/family to shipment packages. Tracking services are increasingly popular in industries including food and retail, yet multiple businesses are not leveraging the technology to keep their process transparent and customers engaged.

What challenges are we trying to solve?

Waiting for a service to be completed can be time-consuming. Especially if there is no transparency, customers can be spending time waiting than focusing on what matters. Trackio looks to solve this problem by allowing companies to be transparent in their service process. This gives company employees the power to track their workflows and provide transparency to customers.

How is the team solving it technically?

When the app is opened up, a company can register for an account. Once a company is signed up, they will be logged in to their company home page. On their home page, they can add employees to their account, create orders (which documents the workflow), and view their current orders. Once an order is created, a unique code is generated in which it is provided to a customer for them to track their service.

As well, employees have access to their own profiles which will allow them to see which orders are assigned to them and what orders they have completed.

This brings us to the conclusion that the goal of Trackio is to provide transparency so that so that customers can save time while being updated on their service orders.

What's next for Trackio?

Businesses are constantly looking for ways to engage, entertain and improve the customer experience. With a flexible and highly customizable platform, Trackio can be implemented easily across multiple industries and business types. Technologies like GPS, QR code, wearables could be integrated to cater to the needs of these businesses.
