Inspiration
Our application was inspired by the Toyota Financial Services and Pinata challenges.
What it does
It analyzes Toyota cars' fuel efficiency from data in files and displays results.
How we built it
We built our applications in two major parts. First, we made the frontend using react and JavaScript in order to give our users the best experience possible. We added logins, graphs, and the ability to upload new data to the site. We then worked on the back end in Java using Pinata as our database in order to ensure our application runs a quickly and smoothly as possible.
Challenges we ran into
Learning Figma, Javascript and coding directs with CSS files, getting all the pieces to work together, working on the 'uploading files' portion.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Getting the 'uploading files' portion, website and graphs working, making the pages in general, learning a new tool (Figma).
What we learned
How to create a web design through Figma, basics of Javascript and more of their libraries, and Pinata workspace.
What's next for Toyota Fuel Efficiency Analysis Web Application
Hopefully be able to finish the login pages and allow for more types of user data.
