Inspiration
With tasks filling our days, many tasks are left behind because "It won't hurt". Tasks are skipped all the time through that simple phrase. That is what we are aiming to prevent.
What it does
Todogotchi gives you your very own task buddy that you can grow by completing tasks.
Your tasks give experience to your buddy and you can unlock new evolutions for your buddy to look even cooler! The experience gained from each task is based off of difficulty and time consumption, so harder tasks will reward your Todogotchi a lot more.
Why will you not just put breathe 20000 times?
Simple, PEER PRESSURE. We have a follow feature in our website that lets people who follow your account see the tasks that you finished! If you take an easy way out by LYING to the website, shame on you, and I am sure your friends would agree.
How we built it
Todogotchi is built on a flask framework, using Python as the backend and React as the frontend. In the website, the artistic design was all hand-drawn and plopped into the website.
