Inspiration
The inspiration behind this project was making different designs in 3d software and I wanted to let people have fun making 3d animations without having to go through the burden of learning the 3d software.
What it does
The Tiny Planet website would have a way to create your own planet by choosing the colors, whether or not there are rings and different types of shapes and sizes!
How we built it
The way I was going to build it was to use a python API to Blender to have a way of real-time changes in the design and made the website using HTML and CSS.
Challenges we ran into
Ran into many challenges, the most prominent one being too much time spent on 3d models/animations.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Proud of the website I created and the animations I had time to make during this hackathon!
What we learned
Learned MUCH more about CSS and HTML, and also much more about how to program in Blender!
What's next for Tiny Planets!
Going to actually make the API required for the customization option for the website and have a menu/better UX on the website!
