Inspiration
The inspiration for this project was the state of the information world, when looking for news topics online I find that there was bias in the news I was consuming so I thought of a way to limit the bias I was exposed to by seeking out multiple perspectives on a subject matter. This means that I would have to go through multiple searches which were tedious, this is where the idea for my project was born. A site where users can find information from multiple perspectives on the same topic without multiple google searches.
What it does
The app as of now acts as a place to receive information from multiple sources.
How we built it
After the conception of the idea, some hand-drawn sketches were made, then I began thinking of what features to implement, and which to prioritize. once these were done, I began using React to build and test features.
Challenges we ran into
The challenges I faced were understanding how to use certain features of React so I spent a lot of time learning these features and then testing my knowledge.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Although the app is still I development I am proud that I was able to kickstart the project because it's an idea I've had for a while but lacked the skills to implement at the time.
What we learned
I learned approaches to problem-solving and new ways of implementing my solutions.
What's next for The Middle App
The next steps are implementing new features and completing existing ones.
