Inspiration

I wanted to make something with oculus rift and got into Unity, then sidetracked (the oculus won't connect...).

What it does

The player uses the WASD keys to control a ball in a 3D game. The goal is to collect all 12 rotating boxes within the time limit!

How I built it

I used Unity and made scripts with C#.

Challenges I ran into

The Oculus Rift part did not go as planned, so we're just keeping the game as a 3D player. Timers are difficult as well.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

It works! Really nicely, actually. My font also looks very nice.

What I learned

How to use Unity. Coding with C# is very similar to Java. How to start developing with Oculus.

What's next for The Collector

More effects! There was a workshop on game design by Game Development @ Berkeley. I'm going to add the effects that psychologically make the game more fun to play.
