Inspiration
We wanted to find a cost effective and simple way to solve the problem of individually training refugees to use the transit system.
What it does
It provides a streamline way to teach refugees how to navigate the systems of the metro that is already in place.
How we built it
Our presentation is built with PowerPoint and if we were to implement the actual solution, we would need to update the current website and partner with NFTA to have our bus training days.
Challenges we ran into
Figuring out a way to present all of our ideas within the time frame and focusing more on the key ideas in our presentation. Trying to get everything to be concise without text but making int more accessible for anyone that does not know the languages.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are proud of the fact that we have a solution that is more cost effective, and it is achievable even if some of the plans may not work out 100 percent.
What we learned
We learned how to accommodate multiple needs that were displayed in the challenge and tried to find a solution that will apply to all.
What's next for The 28th team.
We want to keep track of the progress on the project presented.
