Inspiration
Nowadays the traffic problem is increasing and keeping this in mind we started to find a solution. Then we came up with the idea to use latest technology to help ourselves. Thus we came up with TezWag.
What it does
Decentralized Peer to Peer Carpooling Application with user friendly interface, approximate pricing and transparency which helps to reduce Data Breaching and misuse of data.
How we built it
We built are project on tezos blockchain using various other technologies like Next.js, Tailwind CSS, MapBox API and Taquito
Challenges we ran into
We ran into many challenges during our hackathon journey:-
- Integrating the wallet using taquito
- Transactions - The biggest advantage of blockchain is secure transactions and we wanted to handle our transactions with Tezos. It was the first time we were doing something like this. ## Accomplishments that we're proud of
- We were able to complete the whole frontend and able connect the wallet successfully.
What we learned
We learned a lot about the tezos wallet and how the blockchain works.
What's next for TezWag
We will like to increase it's efficency and improve the user interface
