Inspiration: Our love for Texas and its natural beauty inspired us to create Texas Eco, a project aimed at promoting eco-friendly practices and preserving the state's environment.
What it does: Texas Eco is a one-stop-shop for all things eco-friendly in Texas. It provides resources, tips, and volunteering opportunities to help individuals and communities make sustainable choices.
How we built it: We collaborated as a team to research and curate information about eco-friendly practices, volunteering opportunities, and environmental organizations in Texas. We used ReactJS and other web development tools to create an easy-to-navigate website.
Challenges we ran into: We faced challenges in collecting and organizing information from various sources. We also had to ensure that the website was user-friendly and accessible to a diverse audience.
Accomplishments that we're proud of: We are proud of creating a comprehensive resource for eco-friendly practices and volunteering opportunities in Texas. We also enjoyed working as a team and collaborating on a project that promotes sustainability.
What we learned: Through this project, we learned about the importance of sustainability and the impact of individual actions on the environment. We also improved our research and web development skills.
