Inspiration

Don't you hate it when your team struggles to find a time to meet? Well, When! has got your back! Our team was inspired by our common dislike for organising group meetings for university projects, so we wanted a quick and easy solution to help us!

What it does

This website helps you and your team easily find times to meet up and work together. Our website is complete with a dashboard to keep track of important information, a space to see when your team members are free, and a place to see all your upcoming events. On our calendar page, users will be able to schedule the times that they are free and compare with other team members, which are synced in real time! Additionally, users can download their events as an .ics file to add to their preferred calendar app!

How we built it

The planning and design stage was all done on Figma. Many of the components, such as the gradients, were designed on this platform too. We then used the React framework to start bringing our ideas to life. Our website was made using a combination of Javascript, HTML, and CSS. For the backend, we used MySQL and node.js

Challenges we ran into

One of the most challenging things our team ran into was determining what elements to include in our project that could be accomplished in time. Many of the good ideas that we came up with did not make it into the final product as we did not have enough time to implement them.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We're proud that even though it was some of our first times using these frameworks and languages, we were still able to complete our project in the end.
