Inspiration
- We were inspired by struggles that many people faced with handling their information at the doctors and even some of our own personal struggles.
What it does
- Our app helps facilitate a safe environment between a patient and their doctor and eases many medical processes
How we built it
- We researched some telehealth apps to understand the target audience, and we did research to find out which features we should keep and what we should scrap
- We used Figma to design the UI/UX wireframe and prototype of the app. We used a more muted color palate to be more welcoming and to make it more accessible to those with photosensitivity issues in an effort to accommodate to everyone
Challenges we ran into
- Due to this being all of our first times using Figma to design, it was quite the learning curve especially given the limited hacking time.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
- We're proud that despite this learning curve, we managed to get a complete prototype with smooth animations that expresses our idea for this app
What we learned
- We learned the standard process of researching and developing an application.
- We gained many insights into UI/UX terminology/concepts, research methods, and design feature elements on Figma.
What's next for Telemed
- With the time given we had begun the process of making the app into a proper iOS app, but that would be later in the development cycle.
- We would also definitely need to look into ways to properly secure the app due to it containing important personal information
