💡 Idea
The idea behind this project came from the fact that minorities require mental health help due to higher levels of anxiety, depression, suicidal tendencies, post-traumatic stress disorder and other mental health disorders. Chatbots like ChatGPT became the inspiration behind this project. The idea was to create a chatbot which provides tailored responses which promote empathy, understanding, and personalized strategies to navigate unique experiences and foster well-being.
⚙️ What it does
This chatbot offers compassionate support to all individuals despite being targeted for minorities. It provides a safe space for users to mental health, and more.
🏗 How I built it
To create this chatbot, I used ChatBase which let me create a simple chatbot which I trained on many commonly asked questions and preferred responses. Next I used the embed on site feature which let me use this chatbot in a simple HTML webpage that I hosted with Netlify. And with that Telaputic was born!
🏆 Accomplishments that I am proud of
I am proud to have made a working chatbot and gain some experience and knowledge and traversed a new path in my hacking journey.
What's next for Telaputic?
I plan on making Telaputic much better by training it with better sources to allow for better responses and beautifying it to make it more user friendly.
