Inspiration
My team was inspired about the idea that was laid down on how implement the core 17 SDG value in the lives of the young youth by building a website that allows them pay for courses using seerbit's API.
What it does
Its a website that offer services to anybody including the youths and allows them reach out to Techorama to get paid courses in which they make payments through seerbit's API
How we built it
We built the website as a team of four team members where we came up with different ideas to help develop the lives of our modern youth by instilling the technology skills as a soft skills to aid the development of the country. The backend developer added all the team members to the repository used as an open source code to aid fast deployment of codes while coding, we also used different programming languages to build the website
Challenges we ran into
One of the major challenge we ran as a team which as the team leader i had never experienced before in all the hackathon i participated is that after getting ready as a team expecting great results from each team members only three of us where active which was the front end developers and the AR/VR developer in the team, in which we were expecting the full-Stack developer to help assist with the monitoring of the codes movement but all was avail and this attitude drew us back. "Lack of collaboration skills"
Accomplishments that we're proud of
The Accomplishment we are proud of is we after all downfalls during the hackathon we could finally upload our codes and the pitched demo video even as we know other teams would get disqualified at least we are still on track and we learned a while lots of experience as a team.
What we learned
We learned a whole lots of attitude we needed to develop as a team which includes trustworthiness as well as the collaboration skills amongst team mates and forever we pledged to help Techorama to be at the peek with the idea we brought in as a team. So after this hackathon we intended to continue running Techorama probably as a NGO Tech company.
What's next for Techorama
The next step for Techorama is to help develop billions of youth which would be as a result of brain capital to our Dear country Nigeria, to help develop creative skills and help assist the next Technology Generation by implementing soft skills acquired to develop new things and everlasting projects.
