Inspiration

We were inspired to create a discord bot that would allow students to find resources on the spot.

What it does

The discord bot retrieves posts from a slack-channel workspace.

How we built it

We utilized Discord.js, Node JS, Slack's API, and MySQL.

Challenges I ran into

Developing a react web app that also displayed the same posts that were in the workspace.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

Implementing the Slack API and Discord.js API for the first time.

What's next for Techie Helper Bot

Developing the web app, and allowing the user to tell the bot how many entries they would like displayed.
