What it does

Tech4All creates Digital Agoras—community-centric hubs leveraging technology for information exchange, skill development, and local entrepreneurship. These hubs serve as transformative spaces, connecting rural areas to educational resources, economic opportunities, and a broader digital landscape.

How we built it

For our website, we used a mix of HTML, CSS, Javascript, handwriting recognition model Tesseract.js, web APIs RTCPeerConnection & SpeechSynthesisUtterance, W3 Schools HTML Template, and assistance from the AI generative engine, ChatGPT, to formulate the aesthetics and features of our project.

Challenges we ran into

In the early stages, making a unique idea posed challenges. We struggled with aligning functions and incorporating Python into HTML. However, we pivoted to JavaScript, enhancing both functionality and language translation, resulting in a more seamless and innovative solution.

What we learned

Throughout our journey, we've learned the importance of adaptability, community involvement, and the transformative power of technology when tailored to local needs. Building sustainable solutions necessitates a holistic understanding of the challenges faced by each unique community.
