We built Octopus with Arduino and C. Although most of us didn’t have much arduino experience, we followed articles and tutorials to help us add functionality to Octopus. We were inspired by the precision and endurance that biathletes demonstrate in cross country skiing and sharpshooting.
Team 72 Octopus
Octopus uses simple yet ingenious engineering methods to accomplish tasks, like a two-pronged one-legged claw mechanism and a rotating servo for increased speed when avoiding obstacles.
