Inspiration
Fraser group prompt at hackathon about attracting the next generation to the fashion retail industry.
What it does
Users can scroll, like and share clothing products. Feed updates with clothes based on what user likes. Users can also share products they like with other users and have a conversation with other user in the application.
How we built it
We made a web/mobile app with React Native (Expo) for the front end, javascript and node.js for connection to our postgreSQL database.
Challenges we ran into
We ran into issues surrounding a lack of experience using Expo to make a mobile friendly app especially network related issues.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We managed to create an application that works both on mobile and desktop. We also managed to work effectively as a team considering we met each other for the first time at the hackathon.
