Inspiration
Food waste is a major issue in the world today. Nearly 1/3 of food in the United States is wasted and with our project we will be able to stop this high rate of food wastage.
What it does
You can choose from our AI trained chefs to generate conservative or experimental recipes for you. You can try out our sample sets of ingredients for different cuisines such as Indian, Italian, and Turkish. You can also manually input your own ingredients or take a picture of your ingredients.
How we built it
We used Python, and many libraries, such as OpenCV2 and StreamLit, and using the Google Gemini Pro Vision API.
Challenges we ran into
We had trouble with the input box and the API, but eventually fixed it.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We were able to overcome the challenges that we faced by learning more about how to use the language.

What's next for Team 27
To Improve our project, we can optimize more types of cooking to work as new AI Chefs.
