Inspiration
Often, resources provided on campus are insufficient, and teaching assistants are not always available. That's why we need this website. You can look for private tutors in any subject you want in a short response time, no matter where you are. I want to provide the students with the backup they can get whenever they were stuck on something.
What it does
On the students tab, the page shows you the recommended or relevant teachers based on your location, reviews, etc. The search bar would allow you to search the subject or your zip code, and, then, the relevant teachers would show up. The reviews tab would allow you to view the reviews for tutors or leave the reviews (it works like rateforprofessor website). On the profile page, you can change the password, username, or location.
How we built it
I created the navigation bar on the top with the search bar and the signup button. When you click on the signup button, it would have the dropdown for signup. Clicking on the teachers tab would direct you to the page of relevant teachers. I mostly worked on ui/ux components .
Challenges we ran into
I struggled to direct the signup button with PHP file.

What we learned
How to work with dropdown and navigation bar and use CSS to describe more demonstrated presentation of the Web pages.
What's next for Teachers Nearby
I would finish the user registration form with PHP. I would work on storing backend data such as teachers' information and review posts and linking them with the front end using javascript. I hope to work on IOS app version as well.
