Inspiration
We all asked ourselfs "When I started drinking coffe what was my problem at the first place?". One of the problems was lack of knowledge about coffe types and mixes we can make.So we thought we could make a big impact if we could bring together those who consume coffee and those who are just starting to drink coffee on a common ground. When we listened to both sides while doing market analysis, guidance, advice and customized products were the main topics of our research. Based on this, we worked on a project to meet these demands.
What it does
This project offers users to make their specialized coffee and of course offers a wide range of products along with various flavors for coffees produced by Tchibo itself.
How we built it
After we finished market analysis and deciding product-service scale we make sure we are designing a simple but pleasant interface for the users. Then we thought the main colors of Tchibo is the best way to show simplicity and beauty at the same time.After we finished designing the interface, we started desingning packages and coffe kits for our products. At this part we designed 3d views for our packages and coffe kits then we added this views to our site.Finally, we transferred this interface to the internet via HTML and made it possible to reach with one link.
Challenges we ran into
Mostly we struggled with creating a website and deciding interface for that.Because we dont have much experience about creating website.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
First of all, we are proud of creating a platform which contains both types of coffe users(new and experienced). One of them is "Taste Test" part because when we put this part in the project it kind of filled all gaps and make the project very useful for the users who just started drinking coffe. For the last one specializing something and making it your own is an appealing idea and this helps marketing too.
What we learned
We learned basics of creating a website and of course much about coffe types and mixes. When we talk with coffe users they said they have a problem about expanding their coffe experience and they added it feels like more of a addiction if you always drink same type of coffe.
What's next for Tchibo Coffee Community
We just want to make products more special for our customers and make them feel special. The product scale could be anything, the first step was coffee, but the second step could be special desserts and teas.
