We are planning on enhancing existing Keter plastic planters so that based on various parameters they will be watered automatically without manual intervention.
We hope to successfully accomplish the following: 1) Install a soil moisture sensor to identify when the plant need watering 2) Develop a mobile app that will interface with a weather app to determine climate conditions 3) Connect a hose from a water source to the planter with an electric valve that will open when watering is required
