Inspiration

We were inspired by our shared passion for the environment and sustainability.

What it does

This application takes your calculated carbon footprint and provides you a score based on how much higher/lower you are from the national average person. You are then introduced to the home page, where you can see the app mascot.

The app mascot demonstrates the application's features such as: daily fun environmental facts and daily missions. The daily fun facts provide the user with a new fact related to sustainability. If it is shared with three friends, the user may gain points.

The daily missions consist of a series of easy tasks that help you reduce your carbon footprint. When completed, the user may claim their rewards. To encourage daily activity, the user also receives login rewards by gaining points for each daily login.

The home screen displays the app mascot's home, which the user can upgrade using their points.

The missions page displays all missions, including daily, weekly, and all-time missions.

The shop feature has two menus: My Deals and Mascot's Deals.

The My Deals section outlines the different deals the user has access to depending on their level. The deals are different perks/discounts at sustainable online stores, encouraging users to shop sustainably.

The Mascot's Deals section outlines the different customizations the user has access to based on their level. For example, a level 1 user can save up to purchase the app mascot a new house.

The profile page displays the user's sustainability level, name, carbon footprint (metric tonnes, tCO2), and the user's daily progress.

This interactive prototype was built using Figma.
